Worth Tea

Hey girl hey!!

W O R T H…Webster’s Dictionary defines worth as moral or personal value. What is your worth?? You’d be surprised at the number of people who don’t feel like they aren’t worth much because of what someone else told them or how people acted toward them or based of what social media says. It’s amazing how we base our self-worth off of what other people think.

I’m one of those people who has allowed other people’s thoughts or mistreatment of me to determine what I thought of myself. I’ve been this way as long as I can remember, always been a people pleaser, just wanted to be liked (I’m being delivered from that as we speak!). Crazy right?? I know! Living this way is dangerous on so many levels. You can end up losing yourself and living an imitation of life. That’s not life sis! You can’t please everyone, nor should you.

What makes you happy? What makes you feel on top of the world? Those are the things you should go for! Apply to the job you’ve been following. Ask that person out on a date you’ve been making small talk with for months. Drop that money on that car you’ve test drove a million times! Your life is just that...YOUR LIFE! You only have one and you should feel obligated to live it to the fullest. Now I’m not saying do things that would intentionally hurt other people because we also have a responsibility to be kind to one another, but what I am saying is that you can’t live your life based on what other people think.

Your worth is as high as you make it. You have to demand respect and make people see your worth and if they don’t it’s their loss! You are a bright light that no one can extinguish. You are a diamond in the rough. You are the best thing since sliced bread girl! You have to see yourself that way if you want others to see it too!

You are worthy of all the love, honor and respect you can handle. You, my loves, are invaluable and don’t ever forget it!

Your turn sis… what’s your worth tea?
